Frequently asked questions

How do I save where I put something?

Open the app and tap the “+” button, or say “Hey Siri, TacTac” and tell it something like “my keys are on the kitchen counter.” You can also type it in.

How do I find an item later?

Search in the app, or say “Hey Siri, TacTac” and ask “where are my keys?” TacTac replies with the last place you saved.

Siri isn’t understanding me.

TacTac uses on-device Apple Intelligence. Make sure your device supports Apple Intelligence and that it’s enabled in Settings. The very first request after installing may take a moment while the on-device model gets ready.

Do I need to grant location access?

No. Location is optional and only used to tag an item with one of your saved places (like Home or Work). The app works fully without it, and your location never leaves your device.

Where is my data stored?

Everything stays on your device. There are no accounts and nothing is uploaded. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my data?

Swipe to delete any item or place inside the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data from your device.
