Effective date: July 1, 2026
TacTac (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is designed to protect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
TacTac does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. Everything you save stays on your device.
When you tell TacTac where you put an item (by voice through Siri or by typing), the app stores the item name and the location you describe. This information is saved locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData). It is not uploaded to us or to any third party.
TacTac uses Apple Intelligence (the on-device Foundation Models framework) to understand your sentences and phrase answers. This processing happens entirely on your device. Your words are not sent to our servers or to any external service.
If you grant location access (“While Using the App”), TacTac uses your device’s location only to tag a saved item with one of your saved places (such as Home or Work). This is optional — the app works without it. Location data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.
Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in control. You can delete any saved item or place inside the app at any time. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
TacTac does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
